ITINERARY :
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Transfer to Rabat:
Arrive at Casablanca Airport. If time allows, visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Continue to Rabat, the capital city, and explore highlights like the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes:
Depart Rabat and head to the imperial city of Meknes, where you’ll visit Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and El Hedim Square. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrive in Fes by evening. Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 3: Full-Day Guided Tour of Fes.
Explore the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco with a local guide. Visit Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, tanneries, and artisan quarters. Wander the maze-like streets of the old medina and enjoy panoramic views from the South Tower. Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga:
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou. Have lunch in Midelt, then descend through the Ziz Valley to reach the edge of the Sahara in Merzouga. Overnight in a desert kasbah.
Day 5: Merzouga – Camel Trek – Desert Camp:
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Merzouga, then visit Khamlia village, meet nomadic families, or explore fossil sites. In the afternoon, ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoy a desert sunset, and settle into your luxury camp for dinner, music, and stargazing.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley:
Wake for sunrise, then leave the desert and head to the historic market town of Rissani. Continue through arid landscapes to the towering Todra Gorge, perfect for a short hike. End the day in Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and kasbahs. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate:
Explore the Dades canyons, then follow the Rose Valley, stopping in Kalaat M’Gouna, famous for rose products. Continue to Skoura Oasis and visit Kasbah Amridil before arriving in Ouarzazate, where you can visit Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech:
Drive to the majestic Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site and filming location for movies like Gladiator. After exploring, cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by evening. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 9: Full-Day Guided Tour of Marrakech:
Join a local guide to explore the best of Marrakech: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Discover the vibrant souks, spice markets, and artisan workshops. Enjoy free time or a traditional hammam experience. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 10: Departure from Marrakech:
Depending on your flight time, enjoy free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation. Transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure.
